Material Composition
Braided hoses typically utilize robust synthetic materials-such as polyester fibers-as their braiding reinforcement. An outer layer of materials like PVC or PUR is then injection-molded over this braiding to enhance the hose's abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. Plastic hoses, conversely, are composed entirely of plastic materials; common examples include PVC, PE, and PP. These hoses are characterized by their lightweight nature, excellent flexibility, and corrosion resistance.

 

Structural Design
Braided hoses possess a relatively stable structure, consisting of a braided reinforcement layer and an inner tube lining; this design endows them with superior pressure resistance and abrasion resistance. Plastic hoses, on the other hand, typically feature a single-layer or double-layer structure; while highly flexible, they generally exhibit lower pressure resistance.

 

Scope of Application
Braided hoses are suitable for demanding environments involving high temperatures, high pressures, and high abrasion levels-such as in the conveyance of oil, water, and gases. Plastic hoses are better suited for transporting low-pressure, low-temperature, and low-viscosity media-such as food products, beverages, and various chemicals.

 

Service Life
The braided reinforcement layer in braided hoses effectively enhances their abrasion resistance and pressure-bearing capacity, resulting in a relatively longer service life. However, these hoses are prone to accelerated aging when exposed to environments characterized by high temperatures, high pressures, or corrosive substances. Plastic hoses generally have a shorter service life, yet they offer the versatility to accommodate the conveyance of a wide variety of different media.
