Single-Ended Hoses
Single-ended hoses are designed for kitchen and bathroom applications. They are characterized by having external threads at one end and are subject to strict material requirements, necessitating the use of 304 stainless steel wire and an EPDM inner tube, along with all-brass fittings. These hoses are primarily utilized for kitchen and bathroom fixtures such as faucets and sinks; distinguished by the external threads at one end, they are also commonly referred to as "stems." Manufacturing standards for single-ended hoses are rigorous: they must feature braiding woven from 304 stainless steel wire, an inner tube made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), and be equipped with fittings constructed entirely from brass.
Braided Hoses
Braided hoses are categorized based on their braiding material: stainless steel or alloy wire. They typically utilize 201 or 304 stainless steel, while mid-to-high-end products are crafted from all-brass or gold-plated materials. These hoses fall into two major classifications: stainless steel braided hoses and alloy wire (specifically aluminum wire) braided hoses.
Shower Hoses
These hoses feature 58-3 brass fittings and an EPDM inner tube, with high-end variants available in all-brass or gold-plated stainless steel finishes. Typically, they employ 58-3 brass fittings and an inner tube made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), with the braiding woven from 201 or 304 stainless steel. Furthermore, there are premium-tier options-such as all-brass braided and gold-plated stainless steel products-which represent the pinnacle of quality within the braided hose category.
